Zlatan Ibrahimovic Tested Positive for Corona Virus

DBasia.news – The unpleasant news came from AC Milan. Rossoneri mainstay striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, tested positive for the corona virus.
AC Milan is in preparation for the match against Bodo / Glimt in the third round of the 2020-2021 Europa League qualifiers, at the San Siro Stadium, Friday (25/9). Therefore, all elements of the team are required to carry out a swab test.
As it turned out, after testing all of the players, Zlatan Ibrahimovic tested positive. The former Barcelona player immediately went into independent isolation at home.
“AC Milan announced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic tested positive for Covid-19 after tests carried out for today’s match against Bodo / Glimt,” Milan said in an official statement.
Previously, Milan also confirmed another player, Leo Duarte, was positive for the corona virus. Duarte has also carried out self-quarantine.
“Based on the reports of the competent health authorities, the player was immediately placed in quarantine at home. All other tests carried out stated that they were negative,” continued the Rossoneri.
Losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a hard blow for AC Milan. The veteran attacker is in uphill form. From two matches, Ibra got three goals.
