Zouma: Chelsea are playing well at Ajax

DBasia.news –  Chelsea defender, Kurt Zouma, was very happy because he managed to lead the Blues to a clean sheet in the Champions League at Ajax headquarters on Thursday (10/24) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Zouma also admitted that Chelsea played very well for 90 minutes.

The Blues’ victory at the Ajax headquarters was ensured by Michy Batshuayi’s mere goal in the 85th minute. A goal from Batshuayi gave Chelsea the right to occupy top spot in Group H with a collection of seven points from three matches.

“I am very happy because we won a clean sheet again. This achievement feels very special considering my position as a defender,” said Kurt Zouma as quoted from the official UEFA website.

“Throughout the 90 minutes, we managed to show a very good performance. It’s not easy to play in a big stadium to face a strong team that has won two of their first two matches in the Champions League this season,” continued Zouma added.

Not only grateful for the clean sheets obtained by Chelsea, but Zouma also claimed to be very happy because the Blues currently have many young players. According to him, the victory at the Johan Cruijff Arena was a valuable science for the fleet of Frank Lampard.

“I feel very happy because this season Chelsea has very many young players. The experience of positive results like this will certainly be very valuable learning for all of us,” said Zouma.
