DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain confirmed that Kylian Mbappe will miss the Champions League match against RB Leipzig on Thursday (5/11) am, due to a hamstring injury he suffered.

This injury means that PSG will currently not be strengthened by their three main attackers, namely Mbappe, Neymar and Icardi in the match against the German club.

PSG coach, Thomas Tuchel admitted this at his pre-match press conference that the 21-year-old striker has suffered a minor injury.

PSG insists that Mbappe is currently experiencing “fatigue.” However, the French national team player will certainly be absent against Leipzig.

“Off the field during the match against Nantes (last Saturday) with a muscle problem in the right hamstring, he is not included in the squad for the trip to Germany and his condition will continue to be assessed in 48 hours,” stated PSG in an announcement reported by Goal on Tuesday (3). / 11).

Tuchel now has to think creatively in choosing his attacking options against Leipzig as PSG are currently unable to play Neymar and Icardi.

The two South American players are expected to be out of action until the November international break.

Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler were also out until the end of the month. They are considered to be able to play again when PSG travels to Monaco on November 20.

PSG have so far only collected three points in the Champions League after beating Manchester United and winning over Istanbul Basaksehir.

Meanwhile, they are already two points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 standings after winning seven wins from nine matches.
