DBasia.news – AC Milan has prepared an alternative plan if they fail to recruit Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira. The player played at Dinamo Zagreb.
Quoted from Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan made Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Nikola Moro as a target if it failed to bring Torreira from Arsenal. Moro is one of the young talents possessed by Zagreb.
Milan’s desire to recruit Moro cannot be separated from the role of Milan’s Technical Director, Zvonimir Boban. The legend wants a Croatian player in his squad and advises the club to bring in Moro.
Only 21 years old, Moro can also play the role of Torreira in a defensive and all-around midfielder position that can be placed as a defensive midfielder, middle or more offensive. Last season, Moro played 29 times and scored five goals.
Boban, along with Paolo Maldini, is still trying to recruit players to add to the quality of the squad. Giampaolo, former Sampdoria coach, is famous for his ability to sharpen the talents of young players. Both Torreira and Moro are both young.
But, regarding experience or flight hours, Torreira is superior. The 23-year-old Uruguayan midfielder played in Italy, Sampdoria, in mid-2015-2018. There, Torreira was trained by Giampaolo and his abilities developed rapidly since then.
