AC Milan Defender Certainly Absent until the End of the Season

DBasia.news – AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli is certain to be absent until the end of the season due to a muscular injury he got when the Rossoneri defeated Sassuolo in the 2019-2020 Serie A season.
A visit to Sassuolo headquarters at Mapei Stadium on Wednesday (7/22), Milan successfully defeated the home team with a score of 2-1. Two goals from The Rossoneri squad were scored by the aging striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 19th minute and 42nd minute.
Unfortunately, in the match Milan have to lose their mainstay defender, Romagnoli, after doing an air duel with opposing player. As a result, the 25-year-old defender was pulled out and replaced by young defender Matteo Gabbia in the 32nd minute.
“Romagnoli has a muscle problem, which will almost certainly make him absent from all the remaining matches,” Stefano Pioli told Milan TV full on Wednesday (7/22).
Pioli could not hide his disappointment seeing Romagnoli absent. He said, the player is one of the influential factors in the Diavolo Rosso squad.
“I am very sorry about this news because we played well and Romagnoli has played with the best quality in every season,” he concluded.
Not only Romagnoli, Milan also lost Andrea Conti, the right-wing defender was even faster off the field after experiencing knee problems in the 10th minute.
