AC Milan Failed to Win Victory over Sassuolo, Pioli Said There Is a Technical Error
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The match between AC Milan against Sassuolo at the San Siro Stadium, Sunday (12/15) ended in a 1-1 draw. Coach Stefano Pioli said that the cause of AC Milan’s failure to win the match was because of technical errors made by the players.
“We made a technical mistake and it proved to make us lose points. We should be able to increase our level so we can perform better. I think we lack in strong determination, “Pioli said as quoted by Sky Sports, Monday (12/16/2019).
“I admit the players are really working hard to catch the ball. But in fact there are a number of our opportunities that were unable to be converted into goals. “
In the match against Sassuolo, AC Milan did have a number of golden opportunities. Even Theo Hernandez had scored but unfortunately the goal was disallowed by the referee as Franck Kessie was stuck in an offside position.
In addition to saying that his players commited a technical error, Pioli also praised the game from Sassuolo. According to him, Roberto De Zerbi’s players played tactically and had good defense.
“Sassuolo is a good
team, they gave us difficulty. Sassuolo played with an extremely high defensive
line, “concluded Pioli.
