AC Milan Got Defeated, Gattuso Worries the Players’ Mentality

AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso admits that he’s concerned to the mentality of his squad.

“Right now what leaves me more worried is the fragility and the mentality. We have lost our certainties, we must understand why the light suddenly turned off,” Gattuso said.

The former AC Milan coach said that it’s possible that he applied the wrong strategy.

“We must talk to the players, see what problems there are, but my tactical ideas may be wrong too,” he said.

“At a mental level we are not able to react, we are not masters of the field. In defensive transition, we have always suffered, but we were creating an attack. We did not even do that,” he explained.

AC Milan will play in the domestic competition in the match game against Sampdoria on Sunday (28/10).
