DBasia.news – AC Milan finally succeeded in completing the transfer of their former Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As reported by the Rossoneri’s official website – the nickname of Milan, Ibrahimovic has reached an agreement to play back for Milan which is now taken care of by Stefano Pioli. Ibra is contracted as of January to the end of the 2019-20 season.
“AC Milan announced that an agreement was reached for the right of performance of the player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic,” said a statement from the official AC Milan website.
“The Swedish striker has reached an agreement with AC Milan until the end of the season, with the option to extend one season (a year),” the statement added.
Ibrahimovic will officially become a Milan player when the winter transfer window opens in January 2020. Milan does not incur a transfer fee because the player’s contract ends with the Los Angeles Galaxy this December.
Ibrahimovic has played for Milan in 2010-2012. Under the direction of Massimiliano Allegri, Ibra won one Scudetto (2010-11) and the Italian Super Cup (2011). Although no longer young, Ibra is in top condition.
The quality and experience needed by Milan, who currently ranks 11th in Serie A 2019-20. Especially the mentality of a champion owned by Ibrahimovic. That is expected to be a whistle for the two Milan strikers at the moment, Rafael Leao and Krzysztof Piatek.
In the 2010-11 season, Ibra loaned Barcelona to Milan and he immediately gave the team the 18th Scudetto effect (Ibra scored 14 goals at the time). In the second season, his performance improved with a record of 28 goals before moving with Thiago Silva to PSG (Paris Saint-Germain).
Ibra achieved success on the domestic scene through league and tournament trophies, as was the case when he defended other clubs such as Juventus, Inter Milan, Milan, and Manchester United (minus the Premier League title).
