AC Milan Was Suggested to Dismiss Stefano Pioli
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Italian national team striker Massimo Maccarone thought Stefano Pioli is not a suitable manager for a team as big as AC Milan. Maccarone really hopes that Rossonerri can immediately dismiss the 54-year-old manager.
“It all depends on AC Milan’s big plans for the future. It’s good if they give full trust to Stefano Pioli,” said Massimo Maccarone to Calciomercato.
“However, so far Pioli has not shown the proper performance to be able to become AC Milan’s coach in the future,” added Maccarone.
Furthermore, Maccarone also believes Rossonerri will need a few years before they can return to victory. According to Maccarone, the mission will be realized with the synergy between coaches, players, officials and club officials.
“In my opinion, there are several ways that every club can do to succeed. One way is to make long-term plans agreed by the coaches, players and club leaders.”
“It is impossible for every club to immediately gain glory in one season. They need a good long-term plan to be able to do that,” concluded Maccarone.
At present, Pioli’s position as Rossonerri’s head coach is not yet secure. Media in Italy reports that AC Milan management will appoint Ralf Rangnick or Luciano Spalletti as head coach for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
