Adriano Galliani’s version of Ac Milan’s past

By db-admin

DBasia.news – AC Milan has struggled in the past to keep its star players. This was revealed by Adriano Galliano, a former Milan official.

AC Milan was unable to rise from the dark valley. Il Diavolo Rosso was at the Serie A podium championship in 2011.

The Rossoneri are not silent in facing their fate. Some ways have been done including by changing the owner and management structure.

However, the expected results are still not achieved. In fact, AC Milan had difficulty snatching Champions League tickets.

Adriano Galliani also uncovered events that undermined the glory of AC Milan. According to him, policies on the transfer market are the cause.

“No need to beat around the bush, Milan fell because of selling its star players. We won the Scudetto in the 2010-2011 season and also almost repeated it in the 2011-2012 season, but failed towards the end,” Galliani told Top Calcio 24.

Galliani regretted the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain. Both players are the Rossoneri’s pedestal to win the title.

“This is a mistake we made as we wanted to win the Coppa Italia and tied Thiago Silva too much. If we don’t play him in the semifinals, the results can be different,” he continued.

In addition to failing to keep a star player, Milan also declined in terms of bringing in star players. Galliani was regretful after the Rossoneri missed the opportunity to recruit Carlos Tevez.

“Of course if we can bring Tevez we will definitely win the Scudetto in 2012. I dream of attacking lines with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Carlos Tevez. However, that is football. That did not happen,” Galliani stated.

At present, AC Milan is still in a complicated position after being declared by UEFA guilty of violating the Financial Fair Play. The situation has gotten worse as Gianluigi Donnarumma and his colleagues might be absent in the Champions League after currently only finishing seventh.
