Against Hong Kong, Bima Sakti Hails Andik

Indonesia national team lead the match by Beto Goncalves at 39′. Hong Kong just balanced the score by Festus Baise at 69′.

Indonesia national team interim coach Bima Sakti gave a note after the match. He suggests the squad to play in the wing sector.

“Since the beginning, I told the players to avoid playing in the midfield due to the stagnancy. We have strength in the wing sector, with Febri Hariyadi, Andik Vermansah, and Irfan Jaya,” Bima Sakti said.

On the other hand, Bima Sakti hails Andik Vermansah who just joined Indonesia national team in the friendly match against Hong Kong.

“There are some players that we just called, Andik came in and made the change. Certainly, he understands our expectation,” Bima Sakti said.

The friendly match against Hong Kong is the first match result for the Indonesia national team with three sparring partners ahead of the 2018 AFF Cup. Recently, Indonesia national team won 1-0 against Mauritius and 3-0 against Myanmar. The three friendly matches were conducted as the preparation of Indonesia national team squad for 2018 AFF Cup.
