Bima Sakti Anticipates Thailand in 2018 AFF Cup

DBasia.news – Ahead of the AFF Cup on November, Indonesia national team belong to Group B with Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and Timor Leste.

The first match of Indonesia national team against the host Singapore will be conducted on 9 November. Besides Singapore, another groupmate team that’s anticipted by Indonesia interim coach Bima Sakti is Thailand.

“Thailand have a lot of players, just like in the U23 friendly match during the fasting month. They just brought 7 players from the previous SEA Games squad. So I think they should be anticipated,” Bima said.

“Thailand have a lot of choices and the statistic was great. They are great and will be a difficult rival. We have their video and we’ve conducted a friendly match there with the U23,” he added.

On the other hand, Bima Sakti added, in the near future when the players are here, Indonesia national team will apply a specific program for the matches against Singapore and Timor Leste in the 2018 AFF Cup.

“We’ve made a program to play against Singapore later and home against Timor Leste,” he concluded.
