Ajax Director Confirms Real Madrid and Man United’s Interest in Van de Beek

DBasia.news – Director of Ajax Amsterdam, Edwin Van der Sar, opened up regarding the rumors Donny van de Beek’s transfer who is rumored to be a target of Real Madrid and Manchester United. Van der Sar confirmed that the two clubs were indeed interested in bringing in the 22-year-old player.

In the transfer window next summer, Van de Beek is predicted to be one of the players who will compete for several big teams in Europe. Van de Beek’s brilliant performances with De Amsterdamers in the last two seasons are the main reason the player is attracting the attention of several European football giants. Even Van de Beek is currently one of the players who managed to deliver Ajax through the Champions League semifinals last season.

So far, Real Madrid is said to be the strongest candidate to bring in Van de Beek. Some reports even claim that both Madrid and the player have reached a personal agreement.

But lately Manchester United are also reportedly interested in bringing Van de Beek to Old Trafford. Especially next summer The Red Devils are planning to bring in a new midfielder to strengthen their midfield.

Regarding the news, Van der Sar finally opened up on the matter. The former Dutch national team goalkeeper confirmed that Real Madrid and Manchester United were indeed included in the list of clubs who had shown interest in Van de Beek.

“It’s clear that clubs like Real Madrid and United have shown their interest in Donny van de Beek,” Van der Sar told NOS.
