DBasia.news – Ajax Amsterdam defender, Daley Blind fell in a trial match against Hertha Berlin. The incident made his teammates worried, because the former Manchester United player already had a heart problem.

The 30-year-old player fell while the match was in progress until his teammates immediately ran over to him. The career of the son of Dutch football legend Danny Blind is in danger of ending because of his history of heart disease.

As is known, Blind was diagnosed with inflammation or inflammation of the heart muscle since December 2019. At that time, Blind felt dizzy after the defeat of Ajax Amsterdam to Valencia in the Champions League. Since then Blind has used an ICD or a device that helps check heart conditions.

Blind returned to full training in February 2020 after using the ICD. Erik ten Hag as the Ajax coach confirmed Blind’s condition after the ICD he was using died. Ajax will check the Blind condition.

“ICD Daley Blind died. He was immediately replaced and now feels fine, he feels fine. We will do research on it now,” Ten Hag told Ziggo Sport.

This condition makes Blind potentially absent again after two months of being out since December 2019. The doctor will further examine Blind’s condition before deciding whether the player can play again or not.

Daley Blind is a product of the Ajax academy who played in the first team from 2008-2014, was loaned to Groningen and brought in by Louis van Gaal’s Man United in 2014. Blind can play as a center-back and also a defensive midfielder with abilities that lie in his left foot.

Four years with the Red Devils Blind won one FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League before returning to Ajax Amsterdam. There Blind became an important part of the squad that qualified for the 2019 Champions League semifinals before losing to Tottenham Hotspur.
