Aleksander Kolarov Wanted To End His Career With AS Roma

DBasia.news – Serbian national team defender Aleksander Kolarov seems dead in love with AS Roma. He insisted he wanted to end his career with the Italian capital club.

Kolarov joined AS Roma in 2017. And now his contract there still leaves two more years.

Even so, the wing-back had wanted to extend the contract again there. He said Il Lupi had provided many things, especially comfort.

“I’ve been thinking about the future, considering I’m not young anymore. I don’t feel old, but most of my career is behind me now. I have had several plans over the last few years,” Kolarov told DAZN, Wednesday (22/04).

“I still see myself as a player, I feel good physically and have things to give to the club. After my career ends here, I still want to remain in the world of football. But I cannot tell you what the role will be. I have two more years to think about it,” he added.

The former Lazio player was known as a player who has a lethal free kick. Yes, despite playing as a left back, he is AS Roma’s dead ball executioner. He also has special tips on doing free kicks.

“Run-ups are the most important thing in free kicks, as if I got my body in the right position. I can see the keeper and the goal, then kick the ball with the right foot. I know there is a very good chance if the goalkeeper stands a little wide,” concluded Aleksander Kolarov.
