Alexandre Pato Wants to Play with AC Milan again
By db-admin
Sao Paulo striker, Alexandre Pato, is said to want to play with AC Milan again. The Brazilian wants to receive a second chance with the Rossoneri.
“I want to go back to Europe. I’m fine this year, I want to win the Copa Libertadores and then I’ll be back. Returning to Milan, it will be fun, “Pato told Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Alexandre Pato played for Milan for six seasons. However, his performance was unstable until finally he moved to Corinthians, Chelsea, Villarreal, Tianjin Quanjian and now Sao Paulo.
Together with Sao Paulo, Pato scored six goals in 24 matches in all competitions. He is also still under contract until 2022. Nevertheless, the 30-year-old player still wants to return to Milan.
“In the first period with AC Milan, a small injury finally became a big thing. I lost confidence, I felt a little lonely because they blamed me. “
On that occasion, Pato also mentioned the former colleague, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who returned to San Siro in January.
“The club must focus on Ibra, he is too valuable for young players and deadly in the penalty box. He raises the team, he makes you give your best. And then he is very smart, he takes care of himself, “he concluded.
Alexandre Pato has recorded 63 goals in 150 matches in all competitions while defending Milan in 2007/13.
