Alisson Becker Often Blunders Since Joining Liverpool

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Alisson Becker made a fatal blunder resulted in Liverpool’s defeat to Arsenal. He was reportedly quite often making blunders since joining The Reds.

Alisson is the reason why Liverpool can win the 2019/2020 Premier League. Despite being absent for several weeks due to injury, Alisson managed to make 15 clean sheets and conceded only 19 goals from 27 appearances.

That performance continued its prowess last season when he won golden glove in the Premier League. But, Alisson is also a human who sometimes makes mistakes and results in failure to reach three points.

This was proven when Liverpool visited the Emirates Stadium on Thursday (7/16/2020). Had led 1-0 through Sadio Mane’s goal in the 20th minute, Liverpool finally had to surrender with a score of 1-2 because Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson’s goal.

Arsenal’s decisive goal at the end of the first half could not be separated from Alisson’s error in passing the ball to Andy Robertson. Alisson’s ball was cut off by Lacazette and then passed to Nelson who easily broke through Alisson’s net.

Liverpool failed to break the 100 point record when Manchester City won the 2017/2018 season. As reported by Squawka, Alisson Becker turned out to be a Liverpool player with the most number of blunders resulting in the most goals since 2017/2018, which is four times.

The number of blunders is more than Loris Karius (2) and Simon Mignolet (3), two goalkeepers who must be eliminated because of Alisson’s presence. In addition to Alisson, Virgil van Dijk has also made two blunders in the past three years.

There are also Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, and Gini Wijnaldum. Coincidentally, Liverpool’s goal since the competition began again only are two clean sheets from seven matches.
