DBasia.news – Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri admits that he dislikes the Serie A Boxing Day.
For the first time, Allegri accompanied Juventus to play in the Boxing Day by visiting Atalanta home at Atleti Azzurri d’Italia Stadium.
In that match, Juventus collected one point by the 2-2 draw result. Moreover, The Old Lady were lucky because they almost got defeated if Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t score the goal 12 minutes before the final whistle.
Allegri admits that he was disappointed. But, on the other hand, he hasn’t accustomed playing during the Christmas. This is the first time in the Serie A.
“We work and we want to win, and we’ll have to work hard to win the league. I’m disappointed, maybe I’m not used to playing at Christmas,” Allegri said.
Luckily for Juventus, despite failing to win, they are calmly leading the temporary table of Serie A this season. Apparently, during another match, Napoli the nearest rival got defeated 0-1 against Inter Milan.
