Although Great at Flamengo, Gabigol had Difficulty to Return to Inter Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Despite being able to display an outstanding performance this season, Gabriel Barbosa apparently did not get to return to Inter Milan. In the winter transfer market in January 2020, Inter Millan CEO, Beppe Marotta, plans to sell Gabigol.
At present, Gabigol is still under a loan contract with Flamengo until next December. The 23-year-old player has scored 31 goals in 38 appearances for Flamengo. He also managed to bring Rubro Negro to win the Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian League.
“We see Gabriel Barbosa as Lautaro (Martinez). They both are players who will always develop in each season. The loan contract will expire in December and we will immediately conduct an evaluation, “Beppe Marotta said as quoted on the Italian Football website.
“It seems that he will not be part of this team. However, we have received several offers from various clubs. We will certainly consider every offer that comes along with the player’s representative, “Marotta added.
At Inter, Gabigol had difficulty showing his best performance. He often throws tantrums off the pitch and receives the label of a lazy player from former Inter coach, Frank de Boer.
After playing in
Brazil for two seasons, Gabigol is now ready to return to a career in Europe.
Reportedly, West Ham United and Everton are ready to accommodate Gabigol.
Flamengo is also rumored to be ready to make the bomber’s status permanent.
