Amid Declining Performance, Solari Believes Benzema

Solari who just handled Benzema for two matches gives his comment. The coach assumes the 30-year-old player has a wider role than just scoring the goal.

“I’m not the one who is going to ‘discover’ him. He was liked by the previous managers and he’s an incredible player,” Solari said reported by Soccerway.

So far, Benzema scored four goals in LaLiga. Moreover, he didn’t score any goal in 7 recent LaLiga matches. In the match against Real Valladolid, Benzema performed full time and gave one assist.

“He’s got incredible tactics, he makes his team-mates better and he worked very hard also in defense which I think are fantastic characteristics,” the coach continued.

Santiago Solari presented a fresh air to Madrid. From two matches, the former Real Madrid Castilla swept the victories. Meanwhile, Los Merengues are on the 6th rank with 17 points.
