DBasia.news – Liverpool player, Andrew Robertson, could not restrain his frustration with the referee when facing Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday (07/11/2020). He was seen hurling harsh words at the leader of the match.

Robertson himself is the savior of the face of Liverpool in this match. He scored the only goal in the 15th minute in a match that ended with the 1-1 draw.

In this match, Liverpool seemed able to receive a penalty prize. The reason, Robertson played Burnley player, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, in the forbidden box in the 85th minute.

Unfortunately, the referee did not regard the incident. This had made Robertson furious, which made him approach the referee to cast a protest after the game ended.

As is known, the match that took place at Anfield Stadium was not attended by spectators. That made BT Sport able to record the words of players through a microphone placed on the sidelines.

“How could that not be a penalty, what’s the point of having a VAR? What’s the use of that for you?” Robertson said to the referee, as quoted by Metro.

“Wait until you see it. Wait until you come in and see it and you will say ‘How is that not a penalty?'” He continued.

The line judge gave his defense, and said that the violation had taken place outside the penalty box. The man who plays as a wing-back became furious and muttered harsh words.

“You don’t see anything. You don’t see the match as a whole except for violations against him at the end of the match.”

Robertson continued his complaint as he entered the hallway to the locker room. Still muttering harsh words.

“b ****** k. What’s the point of having you in the middle? What’s your point? Eh? b ****** k, really,” Robertson added.

His teammate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, was also furious regarding the referee’s decision. “How can there be no violation [against Robertson]? B ****** k. If it’s not a penalty, then it’s a violation. The sound of his touch is heard throughout the stadium!” said Alexander-Arnold.

Jurgen Klopp also appeared to protest the referee after the match. However, in his press conference, he complained to the referee about the absence of protection for his goalkeeper, Alisson, in a corner kick situation.
