Antonio Conte has no Objection in Icardi-Nainggolan Leaving Inter Milan

Radja Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi have been confirmed by Giuseppe Marotta, CEO of Inter Milan, not included in the club’s plans for the 2019-20 season.
“When building a project, you must have the right profile. Inter Milan have spoke with Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan regarding their contract situation,” stated Giuseppe Marotta recently.
“Both Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan know they are no longer part of Inter Milan’s plans. Not because of their talent, because I consider them to be extraordinary players.”
“Talent can make you win games, but the squad has won the league title. With all due respect, Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan are not part of the Inter Milan project anymore,” he added.
Agreeing with Marotta’s words, Antonio Conte, as Inter coach, agreed with the club’s decision. According to Conte, the coach and the club must unite on the vision of the future for the common good.
“With respect to Icardi and Nainggolan, the club has enough time to evaluate the situation and make decisions. Everything I do is to support the club’s vision. The coach and club must work as a whole and we are fully united on that,” Conte was quoted as saying Football-Italy.
Selling both players was both easy and hard. They are qualified, however, if you look at the background of Nainggolan’s attitude that often acts out off the field, plus Icardi with the influence of the agent, Wanda Nara, other clubs will think twice before recruiting them.
Regarding Icardi, reportedly Juventus are interested in recruiting him and there is news that Wanda Nara has negotiated with the Bianconeri. However, Marotta has denied the accusation. Even so, Marotta opened opportunities for clubs who are interested in Icardi to make an offer to Inter.
“I have heard about this meeting from the media, but I don’t have any concrete things to say if they will meet or not,” Marotta added.
“We are ready to negotiate with anyone who wants to purchase Icardi, appreciating the value of the player,” he concluded.
