DBasia.news – The interim coach of Argentina national team, Lionel Scaloni, denies the issue mentioning that he has a poor relationship with Juventus striker Paulo Dybala. Scaloni mentioned Dybala as a phenomenal player.

Paulo Dybala wasn’t included as the starting eleven when Argentina national team played against Colombia in the friendly match at MetLife Stadium, Wednesday (12/9). The player just entered the second round.

Scaloni’s decision was strengthening the indication that the coach had a problem with Paulo Dybala. Moreover, in the previous match, Dybala chose to absent due to personal reason.

“You think I have a problem with him? He’s a phenomenon. What happened is we didn’t train (with him) during the week and he knows that,” Scaloni.

“He’s a great one. Let’s not make a stupid case because there isn’t one and what we need is for Argentina to push forward,” the coach continued.

Meanwhile, in the match against Colombia, Scaloni gave the opportunity for Mauro Icardi to perform. Despite the goalless situation, the Inter Milan striker got the appreciation from the coach.

“We are very happy with Mauro. He did pressure very well and had a couple of interesting moments. He made an important effort to be here and that is priceless,” Scaloni insisted.
