DBasia.news – Arjen Robben is confirmed leaving Bayern Munchen this season. It’s unknown whether he would retire or move to another club.
Currently, Robben is 34 and has been supporting FC Hollywood for a decade.
“It’s my last year at Bayern. It has been 10 beautiful years,” Robben said.
Besides Robben, Bayern’s President Uli Hoeness also dropped the hint that Franck Ribery who is now 35 would leave this season. Both players signed the one-year contract renewal last season.
“Ribéry and Robben are likely to play their last year at Bayern. Both of them are still good players; they can still perform productively. There are players who have helped write the history of this club,” Hoeness said.
“And I must say in all honesty: the club would have been ill-advised if we had not extended them,” he added.
