DBasia.news –  Manchester United and Arsenal ended in a 1-1 draw when both of them dueled in the matchday 7 of the 2019-20 Premier League held at Old Trafford, which took place on Monday (30/9).

There were almost no goals created throughout the first half. Before, in the end, Scott McTominay listed the name on the scoreboard using Marcus Rashford’s ball.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struck the ball against Manchester United. However, the linesman raised the flag of Aubameyang in an offside position.

Luckily for Arsenal, referee Kevin Friend first saw VAR. After that, it was discovered that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was not in an offside position. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted his squad was affected by the linesman. Solskjaer said, the linesman seemed hesitant to raise the flag.

“Ashley Young raised her hand because she saw the line judge. It seems he was a little doubtful about his decision. Maybe he was disturbed by the view,” Solskjaer said.

“Maybe it helps David De Gea make a decision. Manchester United will not make excuses because it is a perfect goal for Arsenal.”

“In my opinion, the line judge should not raise the flag. He influences the outcome of the match by doing that,” added the manager.

These results make Manchester United stranded in 10th position in the Premier League standings. Meanwhile, Arsenal is nagging to fourth place.
