AS Roma Develops Rapidly under the tutelage of Paulo Fonseca

DBasia.news –  AS Roma’s new defender, Leonardo Spinazzola, sees Roma’s rapid development under the tutelage of Paulo Fonseca.

The Giallorossi go through the first two weeks of Serie A 2019-20 with a series of draws, respectively when they meet Genoa (3-3) and Lazio (1-1). Although the victory has not been able to be achieved, Spinazzola sees a signal of team development under the direction of Fonseca.

“I see the team developing a lot. The coach demands a different playing style than others, it is natural that later in the initial phase the player is a little confused. It takes a little patience, you have to wait a while, “said Spinazzola who is now practicing collectively with the team.

“From day to day the players translate Fonseca’s philosophy and we know what to do. In my eyes, we have developed a lot,” said the 26-year-old player at the AS Roma Match Program. 

Due to problems with a hamstring in his left leg, Spinazzola hasn’t tasted a minute to graze with Roma in 2019-20 Serie A. He missed a pair of league opener against Genoa and Lazio.  

However, the explosive wing-back is now back in shape and ready to enter the team on the third week, where Roma will host Sassuolo at the Olimpico on Sunday (9/15).
