AS Roma Officially Release Gerson to Flamengo

DBasia.news –  AS Roma officially sold Gerson to Flamengo for 11.8 million euros. The Brazilian midfielder did want to return to his hometown and choose Flamengo after rejecting the offer of Genoa and Dinamo Moscow.

The certainty of this transfer was announced by the Giallorossi through their official website.

The 22-year-old signed a four-year contract at Flamengo, which will last him until December 2023.

Gerson arrived at Roma from Fluminense in January 2016 for € 15 million but failed to meet expectations.

He lacked the opportunity to play for three years at the Stadio Olimpico and was loaned to Fiorentina in the 2018/19 season yesterday.
