Atletico Madrid Fans’ way of Releasing their Frustration towards Antoine Griezmann

DBasia.news –  Antoine Griezmann’s decision to leave Barcelona has made him the number one public enemy among Atletico Madrid fans.

The Blaugrana activated his purchase clause from Atletico for 120 million euros. Atletico’s price was insufficient as they claimed Barca and Griezmann had reached an agreement before 1 July 2019 – when the clause was still 200 million euros.

Atletico, reportedly, will continue the process of their complaints to FIFA by including evidence. This was confirmed by Enrique Cerezo, Atletico President, who was immediately responded by Griezmann’s lawyer, Sevan Karian.

“Antoine was very disappointed with Atletico’s attitude and also their leader, who acted with bad conviction and was contradictory when speaking (in public) of what they had told him directly,” explained Karian at Marca.

“Let them do what they see is right, we will do the same if needed,” he continued.

No doubt Atletico fans are also upset with the player who has been strengthening the club for five years. Plus, in fact Griezmann prefers to join the rival team in LaLiga rather than playing at PSG (Paris Saint-Germain).
