Atletico Madrid Midfielder Is Ready to Play in English league
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The great performance of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey against Liverpool in the Champions League was quite impressive.
After playing neatly in the match and at the same time bringing Diego Simeone’s squad to the quarter-finals, Partey began to be targeted by Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s club, currently rumored to want to overhaul the squad on a large scale as they often got negative results.
The seriousness of The Gunners to bring in players positioned as a defensive midfielder is also already clear after Arsenal are ready to penetrate the release clause worth 45 million pounds.
Hearing the news if Partey was being targeted by the North London based club, Kieran Trippier as his team-mate reaps hope if the transfer process never happened.
But the player who once defended Tottenham Hotspur, admitted if Partey is fit to play in the English League.
“Who will know if he (Partey) will go to the Premier League? What is clear is that I want him to stay because he has became an important player here,” Trippier said as quoted from Goal.
“He can speak English very well. So, I feel he does not have issue with the English League,” he concluded.
Reportedly, Arsenal are ready to give Matteo Guendouzi to Los Rojiblancos in order to smoothen Partey’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium.
