Barcelona and Liverpool equally victorious
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona and Liverpool continued their neat record in each league and have won.
Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp are now 25 points clear of Manchester City, who are second in the standings and have only played 25 times. Latest, the Reds narrowly won 1-0 over Norwich City at Carrow Road, Sunday (2/16) AM through Sadio Mane’s single goal in minute 78.
Mane came from the bench replacing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and immediately scored. Norwich had enough to provide fierce resistance as Daniel Farke’s team played defensively, tightly, and relied on counterattacks.
Meanwhile Barcelona continued to put pressure on Real Madrid in the fight for the title LaLiga. The Blaugrana won 2-1 over Getafe at Camp Nou, Saturday (02/15) PM local time, and now have the same points as Real Madrid (52 points), who only played 23 matches.
Two Barcelona goals were scored by Antoine Griezmann (33 ‘) and Sergi Roberto (39’), reduced by Barcelona striker, Angel Rodriguez, at minute 66. Getafe is now in third place on the standings and 10 points adrift of Barcelona who are in second.
