DBasia.news – Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde, did not want to enjoy the momentum that was felt by his team. He believes that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid still have the chance to win the 2018-19 League.
Barcelona are 10 points ahead of second place after winning 1-0 from Real Madrid in the 26th week of the match, at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Sunday (3/3) WIB. El Barca’s only goal was scored by Ivan Rakitic in the 26th minute.
Even so, Valverde did not want to enjoy the advantages achieved by Barcelona. The coach considers that Barca can still be overtaken by Madrid and Atletico.
“We will still fight the whole world ahead. We know Real Madrid can win many consecutive matches, even still be able to compete with Atletico Madrid,” Valverde said after the match as reported by the Daily Mail.
Valverde reminded his foster children to continue to focus to ensure the title. “Until the title is achieved mathematically, we will continue to struggle,” Valverde said.
“We respect competitors as they do us. You have to fight, if you only think, you will start losing.”
“Madrid is also there. There are still many days left and we must think that El Real will rise and cut the distance,” Valverde said.
“You always see in second place and Atletico is a very solid team. There will be a lot of league matches left,” he added
In addition to LaLiga, Barcelona is also still likely to win two other titles namely the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. In fact, Lionel Messi has advanced to the Copa del Rey peak game.
