Barcelona Goalkeeper: Madrid Is Strong Without Ronaldo
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen assumed Real Madrid shouldn’t be underestimated though not supported by Cristiano Ronaldo. Ter Stegen asked his teammate to keep the concentration.
Their key player, Cristiano Ronaldo who chose to join Juventus, left real Madrid. The Serie A champion spent 105 million euro to get the 33-year-old player.
Cristiano Ronaldo transfer was predicted to leave a big hole for the Julen Lopetegui squad. Moreover, Ronaldo has the role to bring Real Madrid winning four Champions League trophies and two LaLiga titles.
Though the biggest rival are no longer supported by their best player, Ter Stegen won’t underestimate. However, the goalkeeper admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo is a decisive striker.
“I think they have an amazing team, like every year, just like us. It’ll be equally difficult to play against them with or without Ronaldo,” Ter Stegen said reported by FourFourTwo.
During last season, Barcelona won two titles, LaLiga and Copa del Rey. But, Real Madrid was the king in Europe by defeating Liverpool in the final round of Champions League.
“You have to understand that this is a player who made the difference in a lot of games, but we focus ourselves on our game and we know that, if we’re confident, we have the chance to do it all,” the goalkeeper said.
Real Madrid are preparing some names to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. Los Blancos will bring the Chelsea midfielder, Eden Hazard.
