Barcelona hasn’t submitted a proposal to Getafe for Angel Rodriguez

Barcelona reportedly received the privilege after Ousmane Dembele’s long injury. El Barca were able to bring new players even though the transfer market has ended.

One of the names on Barcelona’s radar is Angel Rodriguez. Although rarely getting the chance to appear since the first minute, but this season he has packed 10 goals in LaLiga.

Barcelona reportedly used the moment of the match against Getafe to bring in Angel Rodriguez. However, the news was denied by the president of Getafe.

“I did not talk about football with the Barcelona director before the match. We ate together and did not talk about the topic of Angel Rodriguez at the time,” Angel Torres said as reported by Marca.

“First, they have to get permission to make an offer. However, nothing has developed today. Angel Rodriguez remains an important player for Getafe and we want him to stay.”

Angel Rodriguez showed off in that match. Although only entering in the 52nd minute, the striker scored in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, these goals were not enough to get Getafe to win points. The match ended for Barcelona’s 2-1 victory.
