Barcelona Officially Loan Jeison Murillo from Valencia

DBasia.news – It’s finally revealed who FC Barcelona would choose to be the answer to solve the crisis defensive line. He is Valencia defender, Jelson Murillo, who would be on-loan to Barca until the end of the season.

As released by Barca’s official website, the center-back came as the loan-player until the end of the season. However, Ernesto Valverde squad have the option to sign him permanently worth 25 million euro.

Murillo has the experience in LaLiga with Granada from 2011 until 2015 and Valencia in 2017/2018 season. The Colombian player also played with Inter Milan from 2015 until 2017.

Barca decided to sign Murillo to Camp Nou due to the injury of Samuel Umtiti that makes him absent for a long time. Meanwhile, Thomas Vermaelen who often got small injury also makes him unable to perform consistently.

So far, the club haven’t announced the jersey number for Murillo. They possibly release it during the public introduction at Camp Nou, Thursday (27/12).
