Barcelona Plans to Bring in Four New Players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Spanish giants, Barcelona, will reportedly bring in four new players in the transfer market next season.
After Barcelona lost to Real Madrid at El Clasico, attention was focused on Lionel Messi. The star seemed to have disappeared after a disappointing appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Sport journalist, Didac Peyret, wrote that currently the star is not in good condition. Messi is said to have decided to be alone.
For years Messi has been surrounded by the world’s best players such as Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Dani Alves. Messi seemed happy to be in their midst. Now, especially after Luis Suarez was injured, Messi has been lonely.
This situation is certainly worrying for Barcelona. Moreover, Messi can be free to leave the club at the end of this season. Messi is said to be unhappy as his desire to present the Champions League trophy appears to be increasingly challenging.
That’s why the Barcelona stronghold, as reported by Sport, intends to bring in four new players in the upcoming transfer market. This step was taken solely to please Messi.
The four players who will be brought in can support and of course are in accordance with the wishes of the star. From the four players, two would be positioned as defenders and two attackers or attacking midfielders.
Currently the Barcelona coach practically only has three players who are relied on in defense, Clement Lenglet, Gerard Pique, and Samuel Umtiti. However, their appearance was also unsatisfactory, as seen against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
In addition, Pique is now 33 years old and needs a replacement that is at least equal to him. While Umtiti is still far from his best performance since undergoing knee injury surgery. It is not impossible Umtiti will actually be one of the players who will be released next season Barcelona.
For the back line one name appears, Emerson. The Brazilian, who currently strengthens Real Betis, is predicted to be the successor to Dani Alves. Emerson has also felt Setien’s touch. Not only that, Barcelona currently has half the ownership of the 21-year-old defender.
Another name that appears is Valencia player, Ferran Torres. The 21-year-old right wing appeared neatly when Valencia beat Barcelona 2-0 at Mestalla in January. Ferran Torres is predicted to leave Valencia after twice refusing an offer to extend his contract.
While other names that stuck out are the players who were praised directly by Messi. “He is spectacular. He has the potential to be a great player. He scores a lot of goals and is very qualified,” Messi said.
The player referred to by Messi is Inter Milan striker, Lautaro Martinez. Mundo Deportivo reported that Barcelona has prepared funds plus Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo to bring in Martinez.
Finally, despite countless speculations, Barcelona will again try to repatriate Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
“He (Neymar) really wants to come back. He always seemed to regret what he had done, “Messi stated some time ago.
