Barcelona Prepared Griezmann for Neymar’s Return to Camp Nou

DBasia.news –  Barcelona is still trying to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou. Barcelona is reportedly willing to lose Antoine Griezmann for him.

Griezmann just joined Barcelona in the summer of 2019 from Atletico Madrid. The French star was brought to Camp Nou after Barcelona redeemed the release clause worth 120 million euros.

But Griezmann was still windy in his first season with Barcelona. He has only scored eight goals in 26 appearances in the Spanish League.

Reported by Sky Sports, Barcelona is ready to release Griezmann even though it’s only been one season to help fund the transfer of Neymar and Lautaro Martinez. As is known, the club’s finances are disrupted because of the corona virus pandemic.

Barcelona reportedly set a price of 100 million euros for Griezmann. While Paris Saint-Germain labeled Neymar for 150 million euros.

Therefore, Barcelona hopes to get Neymar by including Griezmann in the agreement. If both the player and PSG are not interested in such a deal, Barcelona is ready to sell Griezmann to another club.

Griezmann himself believes he still has a future in Barcelona. However, if Barcelona can eventually bring Neymar and Lautaro, it is not impossible that Griezmann will be increasingly marginalized.
