Barcelona Talk About Messi’s Retirement Plan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, said the world of football must be ready when Lionel Messi retires in the near future.
Messi was named the world’s best player this year for the sixth Ballon d’Or in Paris.
He had expressed his intention to retire soon in his speech at the Ballon d’Or ceremony that “You enjoy these moments as my retirement is near.”
“It’s natural, it’s normal, Leo is 32 years old and even though I think he’s thinking about retiring now, it’s still in his mind,” Valverde said.
“However, I don’t think we are going crazy because of that, we have to look at it naturally. Everyone thinks about retiring when they get to a certain age, but just because he thinks that doesn’t mean he will retire in the next three days.”
“I realize that I have enormous fortune to say that in the next few years I have trained Leo.”
