Barcelona’s Barriers to Get Lautaro Martinez
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona is reportedly facing obstacles to recruit Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. Lautaro recorded the best performance at Inter Milan this season. The Argentine attacker became an equal duet friend for Romelu Lukaku.
Lautaro’s talents and performance make Barcelona stuck. Barca’s desire to bring Lautaro also has the approval of Lionel Messi.
Barcelona is said to have prepared a contract offer duration up to 2025. In addition, Barca is also willing to increase the player’s salary to 7 million euros per week.
In fact, Barca can activate the release clause in the Lautaro contract which is worth 111 million euros. The clause is only active in the first two weeks of July.
However, Barcelona avoids this method. Barca prefers to redeem Lautaro at a price more expensive than the release clause.
The main reason Barca wanted to take the road was because in that clause there was an obligation to pay in cash. Barca will have difficulty doing it because they need to think about Financial Fair Play.
Barcelona is reportedly willing to buy Lautaro at a price of up to 150 million euros provided that payments can be repaid. In addition, Barca is also open with the option to enter other players to reduce prices. Two names that stick out are Arturo Vidal and Antoine Griezmann.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan will not enjoy the money from the sale of Lautaro alone. Because, Inter has the obligation to give 10 percent of the proceeds to the previous Lautaro club, Racing.
“We negotiate very well. We have a 10 percent future sales percentage at a price of more than 14 million euros. We know that sooner or later this capital increase will come for Racing,” Racing president Victor Blanco told El Intransigente.
