Bastian Schweinsteiger Announces Retirement, Bayern Munich Opens their Doors
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger, has officially declared his retirement. Schweinsteiger does not need to worry about going forward, many parties have opened their doors for him. One of them, Bayern Munich, which has been defended for 13 seasons.
Bayern Munich’s willingness to accommodate Bastian Schweinsteiger was revealed by CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He asserted, his club is always opened to former players who want to return to devote themselves there.
“A great career has found its end. Basti has achieved everything that can be embraced in football. Besides, he is a great man. “Bayern’s door is always open for him,” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stated as quoted by the official Bayern Munich official.
That statement is like a mere repetition. Previously, in March, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also revealed the same thing. He openly said that Die Roten had plans for Bastian Schweinsteiger.
“Bayern are always interested in remembering important former players with the club. For example, I would be thrilled if Bastian Schweinsteiger returned with us, “he said at the time to Abendzeitung Munich.
Lately, Die Roten has been fairly diligent in hiring former players. Just look at Miroslav Klose who now handles the U-17 team, Martin Demichelis in the U-19 team, Niko Kovac as senior team coach, then Hasan Salihamidzic as sport director.
Besides them, there are also Lothar Matthaeus, Giovane Elber, and Luca Toni who are active around the world as ambassadors for the club. A similar function or even management entry such as Salihamdzic might be an option for Bastian Schweinsteiger. As he once claimed to be reluctant to take part as a coach.
