Bayern Munich Players United to Prevent Boateng’s Exit to PSG or Man United

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Germany 29-year-old central back, Jerome Boateng was rumored to leave following Arturo Vidal to Barcelona. Boateng won’t join Barcelona for sure, he was the target of two Europe big clubs: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Manchester United.

Boateng has been playing for 7 years in Bayern since leaving Manchester City in 2011. During that time, he achieved 6 Bundesliga, 3 DFB-Fokal, 2 DFL-Supercup, 1 Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Interclub World Cup, also one World Cup champion title with Germany national team in 2014.

Man United are the most serious one who want him because Jose Mourinho is still looking for one tough, experienced and qualified central back. Bayern set the price tag at £50M and Man United want to buy it at lower price. The negotiation is still going. The Red Devils also have to hurry since the summer transfer market will be over soon.

The rumor of Boateng exit was heard by Bayern players and also the coach Niko Kovac. They are united hoping that Boateng will stay with Die Roten.

“We’d all be sad. He’s a world-class player, one of the best in his position,” David Alaba said.

“I’ve been playing with Jerome for many years now,” Ribery said. “I hope he’ll stay with us because he’s an important player. To me, he’s one of the best central defenders in the world,” the France winger, Franck Ribery, added reported by ESPN.

Kovac also told Boateng after the friendly preseason match against Man United in Allianz Arena.

“Regarding Jerome, there’s nothing new. Jerome has played a really good match today when he came in. I am happy about him being with us again. Not only him but also the others,” Kovac added.

If Boateng really leaves Man United, he doesn’t need to adapt to British soccer culture because he has played with Man City before. If he moved to PSG, Boateng will add the experience by playing in the defense line of PSG with Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, and Presnel Kimpembe. Also, he will meet his two compatriots, Kevin Trapp and Julian Draxler.
