Bayern Munich Rejects Arsene Wenger as Coach
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bayern Munich’s management decided not to accept Arsene Wenger as the new club coach. In fact, the former Arsenal manager has shown a desire to become coach of Die Roten.
Since leaving from Arsenal last year, Wenger has yet to receive a permanent job. The Frenchman had also been linked with Bayern Munich’s vacant coaching position after the departure of Niko Kovac some time ago.
Based on reports from Bild, Arsene Wenger has contacted Bayern CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Wednesday (6/11). The 70-year-old man also expressed his intention to become a Bayern coach.
Furthermore, Bild also reported that Bayern really appreciates Wenger’s performance with Arsenal. However, he was not an option to fill the position of head coach of Die Roten.
Die Roten’s management has been rumored to continue to trust Hansi Flick as a caretaker. Reportedly, the 54-year-old man will handle Robert Lewandowski and colleagues until the end of the 2019-20 season.
Wenger himself is not the only name that is rumored to be Bayern’s new coach. Other names who rumored to be heading at the Allianz Arena include Erik ten Hag, Massimiliano Allegri, Jose Mourinho, Ralf Rangnick, and Mark van Bommel.
Of the five names,
Ten Hag is likely to be a figure appointed by Bayern. This is inseparable from
his experience of training in the Bayern reserve team a few years back and his
success in bringing Ajax to appear fiercely in the last two seasons.
