Bayern Threatens to Boycott the German National Team

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Bayern Munich President, Uli Hoeness has threatened to not allow his players to defend the German national team if Manuel Neuer does not become the number one goalkeeper.

Hoeness did not agree with the appointment of Barcelona goalkeeper, Marc Andre ter Stegen, as the number one goalkeeper of the German national team.

“We will never accept that. Before that happens, we will no longer send players to the national team, “said Hoeness.

Responding to the threat of the President of Bayern Munich, German national team manager, Oliver Bierhoff, claimed to have not been worried about the matter. According to him, defending the national team is FIFA’s rules.

“No, because all clubs are required to release their players to defend the national team and that is in accordance with FIFA regulations,” said Bierhoff.
