Benteke Feels He’s Worthy of Joining Liverpool

DBasia.news –  Christian Benteke was unable to perform optimally while strengthening Liverpool. A 10 goal score from 42 matches is not a record in comparison to the 38 million pounds spent by the Reds when they brought him.

Although he has been proven to fail with Liverpool, Benteke does not think so. With his current level of play, he feels he is still able to join the Reds squad this season.

“People may say I have many reasons. However, not many people know that I’m going through a transition period. If you compare the team now with the past, there are still some old players. The rest are indeed new players,” he said.

“Right now is the most difficult phase of my career. But, you have to know, to score a goal like in the past, I can still do that. If I train with the same people every day, it will be easier to score goals,” he continued.
