Bima Sakti Still Asks Luis Milla’s Advice

DBasia.news – Indonesia national team will play against Mauritius in the friendly FIFA Match Day at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi, Tuesday (11/9). Ahead of the match, the national team conducted the preparation or training in Babek Field, Cakung, East Jakarta, Sunday (9/9) morning.

In that training, the Garuda squad was coached by the temporary coach Bima Sakti and Danurwindo. Bima Sakti said the main focus of the training is about the playing transition and Mauritius’ performance when played 1-1 against Singapura a few days ago.

However, Bima Sakti revealed that he is still communicating with Luis Milla and Miguel Gandia regarding the friendly match against Mauritius despite the absence of an answer from Luis Milla about the contract renewal from PSSI.

“Yes, we are preparing for September 11 against Mauritius and I always coordinate with coach Luis, coach Miguel, and we coordinate for every training,” Bima Sakti said.

“We played the build-up play from the back, and the orange vest players was stealing the ball. After that, they attack, and the blue vest players tried to take back the ball. We saw from the video of the match between Mauritius against Singapore, they had a good pressing. Their players are also tall so we have to anticipate the long-ball,” he added.

The friendly match against Mauritius is the preparation ahead of the 2018 AFF Cup. Bima and Danurwindo called 20 players for this friendly match.
