Bruno Fernandes’s Debut that Impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Bruno Fernandes immediately started as a starter and played for 90 minutes when Manchester United played a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Despite failing to bring Manchester United to win, Bruno Fernandes’s appearance was considered quite satisfying. In fact, he was chosen as the man of the match in the game earlier this morning.

Solskjaer also recognized the greatness of Fernandes on his debut. However, he asserted that the player had not released their maximum ability because they still had to undergo an adaptation process.

“Bruno will be a top soccer player. But he still needs adaptation here. Give him time and he will be a great addition to us. We played deeper with Fred and they did very well,” Solskjaer told BT Sport on Sunday (2/2/2020).

“His attitude, his smile, everything about him is encouragement for all players. He’s a real footballer, a professional and he’s a winner. Today we have a glimpse of his character and we will see more of him,” he added.

The Norwegian coach did not put Bruno Fernandes in his best position, the attacking midfielder. He actually put the player from Portugal as a defensive midfielder.

Even so, the former Sporting Lisbon player can still provide a threat to the opponent. Evidently, he was able to release five kicks and three of them led to the goal.
