DBasia.news – AS Roma midfielder, Bryan Cristante, is pleased with the clean sheet that Giallorossi recorded when he won 4-0 over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa League.
In the first match of the team in the Europa League this season at the Olimpico, Friday morning, Giallorossi’s goal was scored by Edin Dzeko, Nicolo Zaniolo, Justin Kluivert, and an own goal.
According to Cristante, the most important thing in the match against Basaksehir was that his team could win a clean sheet.
“We continue to grow, once again we performed very well, but the most important thing is we can get a clean sheet,” Cristante said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.
As one of the players in midfield, Cristante also revealed what coach Paulo Fonseca wanted to all the midfielders on the team.
“The coach has asked us to do everything in the midfield. Making sure all empty spaces can be covered,” he stated.
“We are also being asked to help in the offensive phase. I am personally able to adapt to this position,” he added.
