Cagliari banned 3 fans from watching matches for life

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Cagliari finally sentenced three of their supporters who showed racial behaviors to Romelu Lukaku, the Inter Milan striker. The three supporters were banned from coming to the stadium to watch games.

In the last two seasons Cagliari fans tarnished Italian football with their racial acts on other players. Blaise Matuidi, Moise Kean, and Romelu Lukaku were victims of this dishonorable act.

Although the incident had taken place several months ago, the club did not remain silent. They still worked to find the supporters to finally assign three people.

“Cagliari has announced that three disqualification measures have been issued and are aimed at many people who have been recognized and reported to have delivered discriminatory and racial slurs to the opposing players during home games in the past few months,” wrote the club’s official statement on Friday (14/2 / 2020).

“We identified three people, the canal ticket holder in the corner of Distinti and Tirbuna. “The people who were guilty of this act are prohibited from entering the Sardegna Arena for a lifetime,” the statement continued.

This decision can be said as a new breakthrough from the club. As so far they have been insensitive of the actions of supporters who often carried out racial acts on the opposing players.

That attitude has also made racism still occur in Italian football. No doubt, Cagliari’s step could be a good sign for Italian football to eradicate racism.
