Celebrating League Title, a Liverpool Player Loses Car and Jewelry

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has to accept bad luck after his house was robbed while he was celebrating the 2019-2020 Premiere League championship. As a result of the robbery incident, the Brazilian player reportedly lost his car and a number of jewelry.

The unlucky event approximately occured at Wednesday (7/22) afternoon to Thursday (7/23) morning local time. At the same time Fabinho was defending his team to face Chelsea, which was followed by a trophy award ceremony.

Fabinho played the full match in the match. All his family members were also present so his house in the Formby area of Liverpool was practically empty.

The British Police said that there were jewelry and an Audi RS6 car taken away by the robbers from Fabinho’s house. Luckily they acted quickly and the luxury car could be found again.

“Detectives in Sefton are looking for information related to theft in Formby. The police got an emergency call from that address on Thursday (7/23) morning,” said a British Police spokesman to Liverpool Echo.

“A number of jewels were lost, as was the gray Audi RS6 which was rediscovered in the Wigan area. Houses and cars have been forensically analyzed by investigators.”

The robbery incident that befell footballers when playing a match seems to be a trend. This has recently happened to Franck Ribery, who was robbed while defending Fiorentina.

The same thing happened to other Liverpool players, Sadio Mane. His home was robbed twice in 2017 and 2019 while defending Liverpool in a match.
