DBasia.news – The poor performance of Roma under Di Francesco is highlighted by the former I Giallorossi coach in 2004, Cesare Prandelli. He tried to analyze the core problem in Roma.
He assumes, the main problem is the fact that Lazio’s rival sold too many players. As we know, during the summer mercato, Roma management sold three players: Alisson Becker, Kevin Strootman, and Radja Nainggolan.
AS Roma never experienced any winning in the past six matches. Eusebio Di Francesco’s position as a coach is highlighted. It’s assumed that the two upcoming matches against Frosinone and Lazio will decide his future in the team.
“They’ve changed a lot, maybe the soul of the team is missing,” Prandelli told Radio 24. “(Radja) Nainggolan and (Kevin) Strootman probably had some physical problems, but in terms of character they could be reference points,” he added.

Furthermore, Prandelli suggested that Di Francesco soon improve the team condition. He assumes, Roma is an interesting team, but one of the difficult teams as well.
The former Fiorentina coach also insisted Daniele De Rossi and friends to develop the performance in the weakness of the squad.
“The Coach (Eusebio Di Francesco) was covered with praise from all over Italy last year because he took the team to the Champions League finals playing beautiful, balanced football.”
“Now a few months later it seems like things aren’t working. He needs to be given time,” Prandelli revealed.
