DBasia.news – Former Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas supported Arsenal to win the FA Cup by beating the other former team, Chelsea.

Ahead of the game itself, the Gunners had a great record as they managed to get rid of a strong team, Manchester City with a final score of 2-0 in the semi-finals.

While Chelsea managed to advance to the final after they successfully crushed Manchester United 3-1. But their victory was a little helped by David de Gea’s blunder under the crossbar with not being able to anticipate the kicks of Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount.

Cesc Fabregas has previously played for Arsenal and Chelsea. Together with the two English League clubs from the city of London, he was able to win the trophy.

Although in the match the Blues will also be favoured to be champions, but he considered that Mikel Arteta’s team deserved to be winners. The reason is, with that victory they will return to play in the European competition next season. This could not be separated fromt the fact that they were only able to finish eighth in the standings.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Fabregas, who spent more of his career at the Emirates Stadium, said Arsenal needed him more. Whereas Chelsea have basically won a trophy every year, so this is a different case.

In terms of the trophy, the North London club needs it more and this is of course for their confidence next year and to be able to play again in Europe.

Cesc Fabregas also said that next season Chelsea will play in the Champions League and Arsenal next season will not follow anything at the European level.

As information, the London Cannon is the team that most often advanced to the FA Cup final. The match will be their 21st final. As for the Blues, they will play the 14th final.

In the match, Arsenal will certainly not be strengthened by Shkodran Mustafi as the German player has been injured. On the other hand, Frank Lampard’s back line team is also crumbling. As they became the top team in the English League to concede the most.
